Space Dust

Last night a group of friends gathered at our house for a meteor shower adventure. We drove north (waaaay north) and laid on a damp hillside watching the space dust shoot through the sky. Matt reminded all of us that the light we are currently seeing that make up the stars is actually millions of years old. It's a weird thought.

What fun! We slept outside last night so we could observe it. Night before Samuel & I went out and just watched until our necks grew sore from looking up. Both boys saw "shooting stars" so it was an exciting night!
