Cotton & Brass on The Wedding Chicks!

Our most recent Cotton & Brass photoshoot was featured today on one of our favorite blogs - The Wedding Chicks.

This photoshoot was so much fun to prepare for. My living room is still all shimmery with glitter. I debated between doing real flowers or paper. I'm usually the first person to roll my eyes when I even hear those words together. But it just felt right for this theme and I'm really happy with how they turned out. Keep your eyes pealed on our blog for the paper flower tutorial coming next week!

omg! your paper flowers are absolutely beautiful! Do you have a DIY guide to creating these flowers? If not, is there a link where I can purchase them? They're gorgeous!

    1. Thanks Angela! I'm so flattered. I will be posting a tutorial on Cotton & Brass on monday, and maybe I will need to add some to my etsy shop.

HI Michelle! That's awesome! If you do end up putting them up on your etsy page--I'd love the link to it...they're stunning!

I have been trying to find the tutorial on your beautiful paper flowers. I don't see where this was ever posted on Cotton & Brass?

    1. Yes, that is correct. We offered the tutorial post to Wedding Chicks since they were such dears about posting our photo shoot. You can find the tutorial here: http://www.weddingchicks.com/2012/02/08/how-to-make-paper-flowers/

On the tutorial she uses a 1" circle. Does she use that even for the bigger flowers?

Great Question! Nope, I used 1" but just added more for the bigger ones. I bet it would look cool if some of the outer petals were larger though.
